Vibrant colour in Brisbane's Newmarket
Colour and lights catch the attention of passing commuters at this destination site for Nando’s. Closer-up it’s all about tactility, the warmth of solid timbers, natural stitched leather, textured rendered walls and bold geometric ceramics wrapping up from the floor at the bespoke dining booths. We had fun weaving in the influence of neo-African identity integral to the brand’s homeplace and DNA.
Indoor seating, takeaway or alfresco dining space is offered alongside the super-large cockerel-clad timber curved wall. Frequented by a young but diverse crowd of inner-urbanites, students and Newmarket locals, this colourful Nando’s restaurant recently opened after an extensive refurbishment.
