An elevated, covered veranda hugs the building's edge, offering an airy social space that overlooks the narrow city laneway below. The linear layout mirrors traditional Cuban colonial residential balconies, utilizing dark wood textures and natural greenery to isolate patrons from the nearby urban structure.

Full-height cedar louvered shutters line the internal window frames, creating a dense architectural screen that controls airflow and light filtration between the inner lounges and the deck. The opposing edge is bounded by a low timber balustrade, opening up views to the neighboring brick façades. Underneath a dropped timber tongue-and-groove ceiling bulkhead, concealed warm-white LED strips wash the original sandblasted brickwork in soft illumination.

Woven wicker tub chairs are grouped alongside custom low-slung timber cocktail tables, grounding the casual seating arrangements over wide timber floorboards. Small potted olive trees are placed across the deck to add a soft organic layer to the heavy masonry context. This outdoor pocket expands the floor plate's hospitality utility, providing a highly textured environment for small groups to gather.
