Current Available Positions
Mid-weight Interior Designer Sydney, Australia
The general nature of your position will be to work on a variety of design projects, predominantly within the hospitality and retail sectors. We are looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic and has a desire to further develop their professional skills and identity.We appreciate an optimistic attitude and positive impact.You will work alongside our team of designers from all our locations and you will be responsible for giving creative and technical design input on a variety of project work. You will take direction from our Design Director, Managing Director and Senior Designers.
Key Responsibilities
- Concept Development, working both independently and collaboratively
- Detailed Tender and Construction Documentation, utilizing solid skills in Vectorworks
- Preparation of high-level presentation packages, utilizing Adobe CS, Google Suite, & PPT
- Confident client, contractor, supplier, and authorities liaison
- On-site coordination including site surveys, visits, and supervision
- Preparation of defect inspections
- Contribution to pitch presentations, meetings, and workshops – content and participation
- Travel to client meetings and site meetings as required

Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum of 3–4 years of professional design experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture
- Advanced 2D and 3D Vectorworks skills
- High competency in Photoshop and InDesign
- Experience in SketchUp is desirable
- Ambition to build skills in the areas of visual identity, strategy research, social media, etc.
- Confidence corresponding directly with clients and suppliers
- Ability and experience working both autonomously and collaboratively
- Technical knowledge and ability to develop details and take designs through to construction documentation
- Knowledge of and familiarity with Australian building regulations and standards
- Capacity to work across all our locations
