Channel 4′s “intelligent” sister-channel, More4, has undergone a stylish metamorphosis at the hands of London-based design and motion graphics studio, ManvsMachine. With an effervescent colour palette reflecting the vibrancy of the re-focussed content – interiors, culture and fashion are forming the nucleus of the channel’s content – the stand-out constituent of the re-branding, for us, are the charming live-action idents that centre around physical renders of the animated logo. Meticulously (check out the making of video if you don’t believe us) constructed with mechanical ‘flippers’ – with able assistance from installation specialists Jason Bruges Studio – the flickering devices bring alive vague, endearing locations with an almost magical quality…
