Bankwest were recently crowned ‘Bank of the Year′ by Smart Investor magazine – could interior design be one of the reasons?
As a company, Bankwest are trying to be a little different to the other banks. They are trying to stand out in many different aspects, such as opening branches on a Sunday, and interior design is definitely one of their iconic differences.
Design Clarity are Bank designers in their element. Having already got 3 Bankwest designs under their belt, and set to take on many more varied bank designs, they are definitely the go-to company for a fresh, modern design for your bank.
Let’s take a look in detail at what DC have done for Bankwest so far.
- Bankwest Flagship Store: Design Clarity introduced a streetscape concept for the next generation of Bankwest banking complete with zones for innovation and future-proofing. Incorporating the brand colours of orange and white with modern materials of glazed glass and a clever floor design for a free-flowing customer journey throughout the branch.
- Bankwest Iceberg Model: A unique bank design model around a central idea of friendly ‘stores’ rather than traditional branches. This bank design ensured that customers were happier to visit the branch because there were shorter queues due to the cafe-style banquettes and semi-private consultation booths.
- Bankwest Express: A kiosk retail banking concept that acted as a highly visible brand ‘signpost’ in the middle of shopping malls. The initial site launched in Karrinyup, Perth early in 2011 with very positive customer feedback.
