As a continuation to design tip in Hong Kong, our Sydney peer Danielle dropped the anchor in beautiful Lisbon, Portugal. A city with an incredible old-worldly charm but buzzing with fresh creative vibe and sources of design inspiration at every corner.
Being one of the most thorough trip organisers and always on the search for the most creative and beautiful places to stay at, Danielle discovered Baixa House.
An serviced apartment house in the centre of Lisbon’s historical district, the Baixa (Downtown). Following a thorough refurbishing process, this 18th century building, erected after Lisbon’s 1755 devastating earthquake, opens the doors now to travellers from all over the world.
Each apartment is tastefully decorated with collectables, artworks and unique furniture pieces. It is easy to imagine and dream about living permanently in this wonderful haven in the middle of the city. Or at least come back over and over again.
