Second Generation Store Design
Running Bare stretches the definition of fast fashion. A retail brand that is proudly Australian, born out of Bondi Beach in 1983 and still has the majority of product lines designed and made here locally in Oz. RB is fashion with attitude to be worn by individuals with attitude. Not necessarily for fitness alone, but definitely for fun. This confidence shines through the dynamic product, expressive colourways, prints and patterns, and now also through the new store concept by Design Clarity.
The brief was for a more ‘luxe’ brand positioning. The new RB retail design direction has the flavour of a premium beach resort mixed in with some old-school vintage charm in the form of lockerbay wall fixturing and upfront neon messaging. A hot pink glowing bear faces out to the mall as brand marque under a tropical louvered shopfront window with large luxurious pivoting ebony stained timber doors framing the entry. Inside the fixture suite is simple and highly flexible to accommodate any season. The finishes palette is deliberately neutral with a carefully selected grey timber wide-board floor and joinery veneer to offset the bold pink brand and even bolder array of edgy prints, shiny lycra and flashy fluoros in-store.
This store is their second generation store.
