The lower ground level fully embraces its subterranean setting by exposing raw structural elements to create an atmospheric, intimate drinking lounge. Low ceilings and heavy overhead timber joints shift the spatial rhythm away from the grand upstairs dining room. This material approach delivers a cozy, speakeasy-style sanctuary tucked beneath the city streets.

A C-shaped, fluted green leather banquette wraps around an original historic white cast-iron structural column, making clever use of a fixed architectural obstacle. A round white marble table sits nestled inside the booth, providing a bright visual center against the surrounding dark wood. Behind the seating area, a wide timber staircase with glass panels climbs to the upper floor, keeping the vertical levels connected.

The right perimeter wall showcases beautifully restored red brickwork, introducing rich texture and warm color tones that are illuminated by focused spot lighting. High-top black bar tables paired with minimalist industrial stools line the walkway to offer flexible seating options for casual drinks. In the deep background, large mirrored wall panels reflect the ambient candlelight, visually expanding the narrow layout and adding a layer of sophisticated depth.
