This detail view highlights the manicure polish display, designed as a centrepiece of the salon’s aesthetic. The arched niches are framed in light oak and backlit to create a glowing, gallery-like effect. Rows of nail polish bottles are meticulously arranged on slim shelving, ensuring every shade is visible and accessible while enhancing the salon’s visual rhythm. The soft reflection on the handmade Zellige tiles behind the bottles adds depth and texture, enriching the composition and elevating a functional storage wall into a focal decorative statement.
The manicure display wall was conceived as both a functional storage element and an engaging design feature. Rather than simple shelving, the design team opted for arched niches that soften the overall geometry of the space and add a handcrafted, architectural touch. Each arch is framed in light oak, creating a natural contrast against the creamy backdrop while complementing the rest of the salon’s timber accents. Integrated LED lighting illuminates the niches, giving the nail polishes a vibrant, almost jewel-like quality and ensuring they are presented like curated objects rather than mere products.
Behind the shelves, handmade Zellige tiles from Domus introduce a layer of texture and irregularity, their subtle gloss catching light and adding an artisanal depth to the wall. The carefully aligned rows of nail polish bottles reinforce a sense of order and accessibility, making colour selection both easy for clients and visually captivating.
This attention to detail transforms a purely functional requirement—displaying hundreds of nail polish options—into one of the salon’s most defining features. It provides a visually engaging backdrop for treatments and an ever-changing palette wall that reflects the creativity and vibrancy of the beauty services offered within the space.
