The Bondi Room blends biophilia, soft textures and organic forms to create a restorative breakout area within Bloomberg’s Sydney offices. Natural light, abundant planting and tonal seating transform the balcony into a calm, human-centred space that supports wellbeing as much as productivity.

Curved glass walls open the Bondi Room to sweeping city vistas while flooding the interior with daylight. This transparency is tempered by lush planting along the perimeter, forming a living buffer that softens the urban outlook and introduces a natural rhythm to the workspace. Organic motifs in the carpet and timber accents reinforce the biophilic theme, while a palette of muted greens and warm neutrals grounds the space in a sense of calm.

Designed as more than a balcony, the Bondi Room functions as a multi-use retreat. Employees can host impromptu meetings, recharge between tasks, or enjoy a quiet coffee without leaving the office. Seating clusters, low tables and discreet power points support both collaboration and solo work, while acoustic treatments and zoned layouts maintain privacy. This integration of greenery, light and flexible furniture reflects Bloomberg’s commitment to creating high-performing, human-centric environments where wellbeing is embedded into everyday routines rather than added as an afterthought.
