This dining nook captures the project’s gentler side—an intimate corner defined by tonal greens, crafted wall panelling and a generous upholstered banquette. The atmosphere is calm, textural and quietly sophisticated, designed to encourage slow dining and relaxed conversation.

This space embraces a richer, more cocooned palette, using tone-on-tone greens to create warmth without heaviness. The lower wall panelling, finished in a muted olive from the project’s selected paint schedule, brings a classic pub familiarity but with a contemporary refinement. Above, the decorative framed wall profiles soften the geometry and offer a backdrop for curated artwork that injects subtle personality.

The banquette, upholstered in a deep, velvety green, anchors the room and optimises seating comfort. Its tailored detailing and supportive backrest make it feel more lounge than dining bench, aligning with the venue’s intent to provide elevated yet approachable hospitality spaces. Soft linen-look curtains filter daylight, adding movement and diffusing the natural light across the room’s matte surfaces.

Carpet underfoot increases acoustic softness, supporting a dining experience free from the clatter typical of traditional bistro spaces. The tables use a pale, stone-look laminate for durability while maintaining visual lightness, and the bentwood chairs—selected in a dark timber tone—introduce a timeless silhouette.

Compact wall sconces cast a warm glow across the panelling, complementing the mid-century inspired ceiling pendant. The overall effect is slow, calm and tactile—an inviting pocket that balances heritage cues with a modern sensibility.
