The People First Bank semi-private joinery pods blend functionality with honest style, featuring curved privacy walls, ergonomic seating, and biophillic screening design elements. The arrangement fosters a relaxed conversational environment providing sufficient visual privacy for personalised services. Soft, diffused lighting complements the calming neutral palette, enhancing comfort and focus interjected with pops of bold colour, pattern and texture for brand recognition. Integrated greenery further reinforces a friendly, natural, welcoming feel. This thoughtfully designed set of spaces represents a shift from traditional, transactional banking to a more customer-centric, engaging experience, emphasising authentic straightforward, reassuring design principles through purposeful details.

The semi-private consultation pod is a testament to the evolving nature of future retail banking customer behaviour. With its seamless integration of form and function, this area offers a serene yet professional environment tailored to meaningful customer interactions. Modulo Arc curved limed timber panelling by Screenwood in NavUrban Albany Oak defines the pod’s boundaries while maintaining an open, approachable feel.

The design emphasises comfort and practicality, featuring ergonomic seating paired with thoughtfully arranged workspaces. The natural white-limed timber tones, complemented by brand colour pop accents, convey a calm, caring and focused ambiance. Carefully placed greenery adds a touch of vitality, ensuring the space feels both inviting and down to earth. Subtle acoustic considerations further enhance the pod's functionality, creating a quiet zone ideal for one-on-one discussions.

Inviting lighting plays a key role in the design’s distinct personality, with acoustic turbine pendant fixtures by Contessa providing soft focused illumination, free from harsh glares. The pod exemplifies the shift toward customer-centric spaces, where casual conversations and deeper engagements are equally supported. Whether used for financial consultations or quick advice sessions, this pod strikes the perfect balance between privacy and openness. Its layout reflects the broader intention to create more inclusive and engaging banking environments that foster trust and connection.
