Service Desk in front of the Click & Collect

A compact counter for online order pick-ups and quick purchases, combining slatted timber, integrated greenery and a digital screen to promote the myTWC app.

5/9

Slatted timber panels and light herringbone flooring create a warm backdrop for this service desk. Green chairs and a soft pendant light define a friendly consultation spot where customers can collect online orders, get app support or make quick purchases.

A small but highly functional service point sits at the junction of Click & Collect and Grab & Go zones. The counter is wrapped in vertical timber battens and anchored by a built-in planter, softening the look and subtly signalling sustainability. A generous circular pendant light provides focused illumination over the worktop, while a digital screen promotes the myTWC app, encouraging customers to manage orders and prescriptions online. The chairs, in a dark green matching the brand palette, offer a comfortable seat for brief interactions.

The surrounding walls integrate a packaging recycle point and clearly labelled shelves for quick-purchase items, reducing friction between browsing and collection. By clustering multiple touchpoints—app assistance, recycling and order pickup—into one accessible area, the design compresses essential services into a compact footprint. This approach reflects a broader shift from purely transactional counters to multi-purpose, technology-enabled service hubs that support sustainability, speed and a more personalised customer experience.
