As part of the broader repositioning of Oxford Village, Design Clarity’s RDM role centred on turning a refreshed brand identity into a buildable, compliant and commercially robust signage outcome. The main entry statement demanded rigorous coordination across façade design, structural fixing methods and illumination standards to guarantee clarity, safety and long-term maintainability.
The completed entry sign demonstrates the value of disciplined RDM oversight. Design Clarity managed the full chain of approvals—verifying sign envelopes against council controls, coordinating structural brackets with façade engineers, and ensuring contractors delivered the exact depth, finish and illumination levels specified in the tender package.
This intervention also required reconciling ambitious visual goals with the realities of an existing building envelope. RDM work included reviewing multiple prototype samples, validating contrast ratios for legibility across day and night conditions, and negotiating sequencing so installation could proceed without disrupting trading.
By safeguarding every technical and procedural step, Design Clarity ensured the Oxford Village identity landed with precision: bold, legible, fully compliant, and materially consistent with the centre’s broader design narrative.
