Hospitality tenancies at Oxford Village sit at the intersection of strict operational requirements and a carefully choreographed design vision. Design Clarity’s RDM role centred on reconciling these constraints—supporting tenants through approvals, coordinating services, and upholding the visual standards that anchor the precinct’s identity.
The café frontage shown here benefitted from a highly structured RDM process. Design Clarity assessed proposed layouts, joinery lines and signage concepts against the centre’s design guidelines, ensuring every decision remained consistent with the broader revitalisation strategy.
A major component of the work involved translating aesthetic intent into practical instructions for operators: confirming datum heights relative to the mall ceiling geometry, ensuring furniture zones respected circulation and fire egress, and coordinating services routes without compromising brand presentation. Tenants received clear, consolidated guidance that eliminated ambiguity and accelerated their fit-out programs.
Through continuous liaison with contractors, consultants and centre management, the RDM team safeguarded quality, compliance and visual coherence—allowing this tenancy to integrate seamlessly into the upgraded precinct while retaining its own character.
