Pinot & Picasso is an Australian-born brand that has brought its successful paint and sip concept to the UK. Our team was commissioned to design multiple locations across the country, ensuring each studio captures the brand’s lively and social atmosphere while adapting to local culture. The challenge was to create inviting spaces that inspire creativity, encourage interaction, and maintain the signature Pinot & Picasso experience in a new market.
Each studio is designed to be an immersive and engaging environment where guests can explore painting in a relaxed, social setting. The spaces are carefully laid out to maximize comfort and functionality, allowing guests to enjoy both the creative process and the communal aspect of the experience. The design ensures a smooth flow between key areas—painting stations, social spaces, and bar service—enhancing both usability and ambiance.
The interior concept revolves around a playful yet sophisticated aesthetic that balances artistic expression with a warm, welcoming feel. A neutral color palette allows the vibrant paintings to stand out, while accents of the brand’s signature purple add a distinct identity. Lighting is carefully curated, with overhead pendant lights creating a cozy ambiance and adjustable spotlights highlighting artwork and studio elements.
Storage solutions for art materials are seamlessly integrated into the design, keeping supplies accessible without cluttering the space. Wall-mounted artworks and local design elements create a dynamic atmosphere, celebrating both the brand’s creative ethos and the unique character of each UK location.
