The Mason’s Yard is a creative hub showcasing the history of the J Rotherham brand, and it’s commitment to producing authentic, unique and high quality products.

The space aims to connect the community and foster relationships by creating a friendly, collaborative and dynamic environment, encouraging a cross pollination of ideas.

The design is sympathetic to the surrounding environment with sustainability and wellbeing at the heart.

The Mason’s Yard project entailed a new headquarters and creative work hub for the fourth-generation family-owned stonemasonry brand, J Rotherham, along with it’s two two sister companies; Gemini Worktops and Mindful Memorials.

The first stage of the development involves the conversion of existing barn buildings on the family farm into their main offices, retail showrooms and fully functioning factory.

The Gemini showroom interior is meticulously designed to highlight the beauty and variety of materials Gemini is known for. With rotating display panels, warm lighting and natural architectural elements, this modern space creates an engaging and tactile experience for visitors exploring the brand's offerings. The layout encourages interaction, allowing visitors to appreciate the textures and finishes up close.
